- Partners are facing same direction with follower on leader’s right side, leader’s right hand and follower’s left hand are joined and held slightly forward with follower’s hand on top.
Free arms may be extended to the side.

- Partners are facing each other and offset slightly to their own left so that feet do not directly line up.
Leader’s right and follower’s left hands and leader’s left and follower’s right hands are joined at shoulder height.
Elbows remain up and out.
